Outstanding Behaviour
At the end of each year Granton celebrates those children who have stayed GREEN by demonstrating outstanding good behaviour throughout the year.
'The behaviour of pupils is outstanding. Pupils learn to take responsibility for managing their own behaviour and low-level disruption is extremely rare.' Ofsted 2017

'A calm, purposeful, learning and teaching atmosphere pervades the whole school and behaviour for learning observed during the review was exemplary. Relationships between pupils and school staff were observed as being excellent.’

‘Achievement for all is celebrated in a variety of ways, including through a weekly achievement assembly to celebrate the stars of the week. Pupils can also be commended through a gold card, for an extraordinary gesture and this is shared with the whole school community over the school tannoy system.’
